German NSU model 201T. This is a 200cc head-side valve from 1929.
In Germany motorcycles with a maximum of 200cc engine were tax exempt and the driver did not need a driving licence. For this purpose NSU made the 201R (Belts) model in 1928. A 200cc OHV with belt drive. From 1929 this model was available with chain drive and this was model 201T (Touring).
This is a very nice restoration of a rare NSU model. Motorcycle still needs some detail work and fine tuning. Very nice model with the open OHV control and the recess in the tank to let this valve control pass.
