First AJS model with a V-twin engine. First model with "AJS scientific frame". The top tube ran from headset to seatpost in a straight descending line without the use of curved tubes. This motorcycle had the in 1915 super modern 3 speed gearbox with kickstarter. Magneto is missing. This was a Bosch, or due to not supplying Germany to the enemy, this was an American Splitdorf. Frame, engine and gearbox are matching numbers!
