In 1890 Edmond Gentil started building bicycles in Neuilly. In 1902 motorbikes were added and in 1906 cars. They stopped in 1955. Alcyon was doing a lot of sports and so in 1929, after the great racing successes, they came up with a new model. Now with saddle tank. The sports models got the very good and fast Zurcher engines which they used from 1925 on and with which many records were broken.

This model was renamed "Champion de France" at the end of 1929 after its many successes.

Nice basis for restoration. Engine is loose and has compression.
