Armor is a French brand made in Paris that started in 1910 and lasted until 1934. In the 1920s, they were bought by Alcyon but the brand name remained. The name and dealers were kept but the motorbikes were actually Alcyon models with Armor logo. In 1929, after the great racing successes, Alcyon/Armor came out with a new model. Now with saddle tank. The sport models got the very good and fast Zurcher engines which they used from 1925 on and with which many records were broken.
This model was renamed "Champion de France" at the end of 1929 after its many successes.
Nice to leave in original state and only do a technical restoration. Engine is loose and has compression.
