French Clement racing bike in original condition. Still with the original Dunlop (Clement was the importer) tires. Bike is a special color these were mostly from famous racers. Many parts are marked Clement and this bike also has the unique and specific Clement gears and chain.

Due to Michaux's success in France with his bicycles, Adolphe Clèment started building bicycles in Lyon in 1877. In 1878, he already opened a larger factory in Paris. It became the most important bicycle manufacturer in France. Clement was also the importer of Dunlop and was a major sponsor of racers for the Tour de France between 1894 and 1914. In 1896 Clement partnered with Gladiator and Humber. As a result, you can see that many of the same bicycles and motorcycles were made at these brands.
