1927 Indian Scout overhead valve project. Not everything is shown in the photo; wheels and many small parts are included. If you build this with an Indian crankshaft, you’ll have a 750cc overhead valve engine, but since these open crankshafts are too weak, it’s best to install a Harley crankshaft with Indian pins (available commercially) to create an 840cc overhead valve engine. This looks like a standard Scout frame but is slightly larger and also has mounting lugs to secure the cylinders to the frame for added strength.
A very nice foundation for building a rare race car project.
