By the many successes of Monet Goyon in racing, there was much demand for sporty models. In 1935 Monet Goyon brought out a very sporty 250cc OHV. The difference with their standard model (the LS3) was that the Grand Sport had a quick-fill cap, Amal sports handlebars, double oil pump, valves operated by hairspring, removable luggage rack, ...
All this because in the 30s few people could afford a car and a motorcycle. There were many people who were looking for a racing bike where they could ride to work during the week and in the weekend after dismantling the lights, luggage rack, etc. go racing on the circuit.
This motorcycle is still in original condition, fully complete and in first paint. Nice condition to leave as is or to restore.
