French Lurquin - Coudert 300-350cc of 1907-1909 in completely original condition.

Rarely do you come across a Lurquin-Coudert and certainly not in this original condition. The magneto was an option and one also had to pay extra for the suspension fork.

Mr. Lurquin and Mr. Coudert started a motorcycle company in France in 1899. In those days it was important to win races to promote your brand and because of this, Mr. Coudert was also a well-known racer. They made a very solid motorcycle and because of this their engine blocks were used by many other brands. Production stopped in 1914 at the start of WWI and as with so many motorcycle brands in Europe, these brands did not survive the First World War and disappeared from the scene.
