Restoration project of a very rare army version of a Gilera Marté. This is a 500cc side valve with driven sidecar. For the Italian army some of the ordinary Gilera Marté were built with drive from the rear wheel to the sidecar wheel.
Only 3 examples of this motorcycle are known. There were 2 of these motorcycles in Italian private collections but just 1 of them was sold to Russia. So this makes 1 in Italy in private collection, 1 in Russian private museum and 1 here for sale!
