Rare French Monet Goyon with very fast Villiers Super Sport TT 175cc engine. After winning more than 20 records, the English 175cc Villiers racing engine was very popular in France. Monet Goyon was one of the first motorcycle brands to race this engine in 1923. Because of the great success there was a lot of demand from the public behind this race. Not everyone had the money to buy a 500cc and not everyone had the money to buy both a motorcycle for commuting and one for weekend racing. That's why these "over the counter" racers were made. Everything like lights and luggage rack was on them for daily use but unlike the standard models, everything, like the luggage rack, could be disassembled for weekend racing. This is the last model to use this sports block.
