French Peugeot model Légère of 1913. In 1910 Peugeot came out with the model Légère, this is a 330cc V-twin that looked very nice and was very reliable. This was a sales success for Peugeot. The 2 cylinder and small 330cc capacity made it very easy to start and very manageable. This little engine was good for a top speed of 60km/h. In 1913, the stroke was enlarged from 70 to 80mm and thus obtained a 380cc. Recognizable by the 10 cooling fins instead of 8 and the horizontal placement of the spark plugs. This 380cc engine was now good for 70km/h. This year was also the last year of the round tank between the tubes.
This bike is a nice original bike that has not been trashed or restored, right out of the barn. Very nice base for a technical restoration. Engine is loose and still has good compression.
