Peugeot

Paris-Nice

Nice original.

French Peugeot V-twin model Paris-Nice from 1914. This is a 350cc side valve. Until 1913 the V-twins were equipped with an atmospheric inlet valve. In 1913 this was the model MD. Outside the catalog they had made a new model called model MC. They had placed the new cylinders which were operated by side valves on the old crankcases of the MD. Due to successes in the race Paris-Nice, this model MC was referred to as the model Paris-Nice. The first standard side valve 2 cylinder engine from Peugeot. Because of the outbreak of the war the production of this model was already stopped in 1915. Very nice thing about this motorcycle is the suspension Truffault front fork. Motorcycle starts and runs well but needs to be checked before riding it for real.
