BMW came in 1960 with a sports version as a successor to the R69. The R69 had 35 HP and the new R69S had 42 HP and a top speed of 175 km/h. This motorcycle was a very popular and successful sports bike. The R69S was produced from 1960 to 1969.
This motorcycle was bought on 7/9/67 in France at Montaut motorcycles in Bayonne. When ordering this motorcycle there was also an order from Ernst Hoske to modify this motorcycle with a 40 liter RS - VI Hoske tank, Hoske exhausts and wheels from Munch Mammut and the double headlight from Munch. Also the special rev counter from BMW.
In 1976 the first owner moved to Belgium and brought this bike with him. As proof there are the original customs documents with this motorcycle.
In 2008 he sold this motorcycle to the 2nd owner in Belgium (see Belgian registration certificate). This motorcycle is completely original with the very expensive original Hoske and Munch parts. Full history with first proof of purchase (1967), proof of purchase of Hoske and Munch parts (1967) + further correspondence, import documents (1976) in Belgium, maintenance notes with mileage, registration certificate 2nd owner (2008).
Motorcycle is technically in perfect condition and starts the first stage and runs super fast.
