Belgian Saroléa model 38AL. This is a 350cc side valve of 1938 but different from the normal model A which has 3 gears and this Luxe model has the special 4 speed gearbox. Motorcycle was sold in 1938 in Leuze (Belgium) and claimed by the Germans in 1939, see to original front license plate and German nameplate on the toolbox. It was returned after the war.

This 38AL version is very rare, in Saroléa's book the lists do not even include engine numbers as there are none otherwise known.

Motorcycle is running and with Belgian papers. Exhaust muffler still needs to be fitted. Otherwise completely original with all the right levers and such.
