HD-Classic found this rare motorcycle and with the help of some collectors and good mechanics, this motorcycle is now roadworthy again. Meanwhile already delivered and is showing off in the Saroléa museum of Stany Wouters.
In the early years, Saroléa supplied engine blocks for installation to various motorcycle brands. Similarly, this Saroléa 600cc V-twin was delivered to the English brand Charter-Lea in 1911. Very rare motorcycle because there is only 1 other known and this one is in New Zealand. Saroléa invented the forked connecting rod (for a 2 cylinder). But by selling the patent to a.o. Harley-Davidson they were no longer allowed to make this system themselves and this was the end of the Saroléa V-twin.
