French Soyer 500cc OHV Sturmey-Archer racer. With this model, Soyer won the 1931 Roubaix - Paris- Roubaix race in the 500cc class. Their advertising was with 1 motorcycle at the start and with this one won. It was common at that time to start with several motorcycles in the hope that one would arrive anyway. Sturmey-Archer had a very reliable fast engine that was liked by different brands to race or make a sport motorcycle.
