German Victoria KR3. This is a 500cc boxer OHV from 1924. Top model of the early German motorcycles. Victoria started in 1922 with the KR1, it had the BMW block before BMW made motorcycles. In 1923 BMW started making their own motorcycles and stopped supplying their block to Victoria, Helios, Bison,.... Because of this, Victoria had a block similar to the BMW block but an OHV designed by Martin Stolle at the company "Motorenbau Sedlbauer". Later in 1923, Victoria bought up this engine builder. The model KR2 was thus identical to the KR1 but with an OHV engine and still belt drive. The KR 3 then got chain drive and a 3-speed gearbox and improved suspension. This here is such an improved version. It is an older restoration but everything is nicely original. Engine is very good, 1 x pedal and runs nicely.
